The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recently postponed the enactment of these rules until February 15, 2010 giving US Appraisal Group further time to educate and assist clients in making an effortless transition. The new FHA Appraisal Requirements consist of additional safeguards which promote objectivity for appraisers and minimize the influence from lenders of Federal Housing Administration (FHA)-backed mortgages.
